Albany, NY's WET SPECIMENS return with their first vinyl release featuring 5 songs of raging dark hardcore punk that sound like a basement show in a haunted house. Taking hints from Japanese hardcore and mixing it with death rock melodies, it is not unlike blending The Execute's hardcore releases with The Antagonistic Shadow LP. The tempo varies between a manic rush and lumbering lows, with guitars lending an odd musicality to the otherwise chaotic and harsh rhythm section, and cavernous vocals.
